Serpents hand Warlocks Division is an RP Oriented Subbranch, you may request a training from Prophets and certain Paladins . Please make sure you have read and understood this SOP if you wish to join. Warlocks are non-combatants.
Warlocks Expectations
Your job is to conduct tests on SCPs so that we can learn more about them and how they can help us. You are not necessarily restricted to SCPs on the server, so feel free to be creative.
Follow the MOTD at all times; if anything in the SOP contradicts the MOTD, then do as the MOTD says.
You are a professional agent; make sure you act accordingly. If you are deemed unfit for Warlocks Division, you will be removed.
Warlocks takes priority over all standard interrogations; the only exception is for the following identities after learning who they are. (That is, they must be offered to the Warlocks Division personnel before proceeding.)
Individuals captured and revealed to be SF, HCMD, or other clearance Four personnel: B7 > CED> Warlocks in the ranking order (highest to lowest).
Captured individuals are revealed to have Agency Knowledge but are not cleared. 4: CED> R&D in the ranking order (highest to lowest).
S8 and CED that capture their own personnel are exempt from these regulations.
To ensure your safety, you must be escorted by a Serpent's Hand combative operative during all interrogations and testing.
Warlocks Division may only conduct onsite testing and/or utilizations. If you are capable of testing/utilizing the SCP, you are permitted to do so.
Interrogation Guidelines
Warlocks Division are the primary personnel to do interrogations in base, The following explains the rules for interrogations and how to perform them
Interrogations may last up to 30 minutes from the start of the interrogation. The first question being asked constitutes the start of an interrogation.
There must always be a combative escort present during a SH interrogation.
Interrogation Priority is different depending on the hostage, it is to be assumed they aren't CL4+ or Agency Personnel unless evidence shows otherwise. You MUST offer the hostage to each group higher than you in the queue before you can perform the interrogation yourself.
Standard Interrogation Priority: Warlocks Division Requesting the Hostage (If Applicable) > WD in Ranking Order > S8 > Lord/Prophet
CL 4+ Interrogation Priority: S8 > CED> WD in Ranking Order > Lord/Prophet Command in Ranking Order
Whenever a hostage is asked a question they have the following choices:
Tell the Truth (No Roll Required)
Attempt to Lie/Deflect (Contested Roll)
During these rolls no assists are allowed
If the hostage lies or deflects the question and wins the roll off, then they do so successfully and you must believe them for the remainder of the interrogation. If the interrogator manages to win the roll off however then they can elect to use torture (No assists).
If the interrogator wins a lie roll and elects to use torture, they can RP out the torture method in a variety of ways as long as it's appropriate (breaking fingers, electrocution; water boarding, etc). It is then a second roll off between the hostage and the interrogator. If the interrogator wins this roll then the hostage must answer truthfully. If the hostage wins the roll however then they are not required to tell the truth, the interrogator can elect to use torture multiple times but should keep in mind the limitations below and strategize accordingly!
(Do not be overly detailed in your torture. If you are making others uncomfortable and are asked to stop, stop.)
Using a torture method accumulates 1 torture point regardless of the outcome. You have a total of 5 torture points you can use.
The accumulation of a torture point can be voided by 1 Battle Priest .
This is done by a separate contested roll off after torture is done. If the Battle Priest wins this roll off then the torture point is voided, if the hostage wins then a torture point is still accumulated.
Upon the 5th torture point being used, if the hostage wins then they are dead and you must terminate them. If the interrogator wins then the hostage must answer the question truthfully, and then the hostage goes unconscious meaning they can no longer be questioned for further information.
The rank one obtains in interrogation is what you use to sell them. Meaning if they lie about their rank successfully, you must sell them as the rank they said they were.
The rank one knows is based on their ranking job group.
The following personnel possess concealed cyanide which cannot be detected in a weapons & comms strip.
All Foundation Level 4+ Personnel
All SH Sovereign+
Serpent's Fang
CED
An individual equipped with concealed cyanide may use it at any point during an interrogation. If they use it then a roll off ensues between the interrogator & the hostage. If the hostage wins then they consume it successfully and must be killed. If the interrogator wins then the cyanide is taken from the hostage and the interrogation resumes.
If the interrogation concludes without the hostage dying then they can be sold back to their original faction or be executed.
Virology
As a member of Warlocks Division you have access to viruses
Never use any virus on members of the Hand
Your goal is to make SH stronger with them, Only use virus on members of the foundation as a test or with approval from CPT+
You may use a virus to defend yourself as a Warlocks Division member, if you are alone without other operatives to defend you.
Do not inject yourself with a virus to spread to SH. If a virus does break out your goal is to contain it and cure everyone without termination unless its to0 late for a non lethal cure.
Portal Tech
As a member of RND you have access to Portal technology.
WD, Sovereign, Lords, Seraph, Arch Angel, and CED (without a disguise on) can make a portal.
to make the entrance successfully (/advert "creates a portal entrance")
To make exit gate (/advert creates exit portal)
Roll a 50+ to connect the gates (/advert connects the gates [number you rolled])
If the roll is failed, the staff present must advert the location of your exit portal's location if it is within the foundation. Your portal remains functional
These portals can not be placed in:
LCZ
Any area exclusively accessible to level 4 keycards
Elevators or tight hallways
Any rolls must have a member of staff present/called.
One portal may be made every 3 hours
If foundation find your portal, they are able to destroy it without any additional rolls.
Only Serpent's Hand, SCPs, and d-class personnel may use Serpent portals (or any other allied forces)
