What I have been up to. Well for the past 4-5 days my internet at home has been off and on because of a whole bunch of cable work on my street and my front yard. So sorry for the limited videos lately I have a few in back log which need to get uploaded and a few reviews to get done editing and get published. I hope I can get some stuff up this afternoon but might be pushed to this weekend. As for other thing I have been up to are playing portal 1 and working on the detailed modeling for the Prophunt/TTT map which hopefully will be done modeling this weekend then comes the hammer editor. Yay. Oh also the Grumblecraft minecraft server is being shut down so no more openings for it. But I have the world files so I will still be finishing up my Minecraft Glass Palace in survival fashion so maybe next month it will be done and them comes the photos of it. But college has been keeping me busy so who even knows.

Urban Folklore: Why do we have it, is there any truth, why does it continue for generations. I have for a long time be interested in most general urban folklore and what I have learn is that there is always a truth somewhere in a lie and the protectors of the urban folklore will always believe it. Most urban folklore starts out because of crazy people, sometimes for privacy, sometimes for one’s business, and other times people relating one thing with another which are not related. One example that in my mind is so famous is the razorblade in the Halloween Apple and needles in the candy. There was a legate a case of where someone did the razorblade in the Halloween Apple to try to kill their own family but outside of that it has always been an Urban Folklore except for some dumb teenagers and people trying to frame people. This brings up another point that I think is overlooked in many things, people are influences by whatever their consuming of media is and some people will go crazy with it. When the two girls tried to stable to death another girl to please slender man is a perfect example of how some people go crazy with an idea. If you don’t know the whole organs of slender man then you should read up on it but many thing is that NOTHING connects slender man with any murders, deaths, or missing people. What those two girls read was more than likely a storyish website that draws on from the organ of a tale made either by other crazy people or by people as self expression outlet. I have read many different crazy storyish website’s where it was made out to be true but most cases it is not but there are examples of people taking ideas form these sites and running with them as in the case of the two girls.

One of the craziest folklore I have ever heard from this 70+ year old farmer was the corn spider. Not the Argiope aurantia but a large three foot big spider that supposable ate and consumed ever person who went missing in a corn field. When I asked if they had even seen it he said no but I have proof of it; so I follow him to his garage and then he brings of this “leg” of this spider. To me it honestly looked and felt like a stick but he swore up and down that when he found that in 1987 his combine stopped working and he went out to look out it in the field and there on the ground was this “leg”, he then looked into the combine didn’t see anything wrong, started it back up and then it worked and he continued on but he say these dark “spiders running away from the combine after that. Now I honestly believe that he was telling what he saw and tieing it into the “leg” he found but as for the “leg”(granted when I saw it, it would have been 23 years old) but in all possibility the “leg” was just a stick and the “spider” was just some wind. Also as far as I know everyone who has supposable gone missing in a farm field has been found (dead or alive) come harvest time.

Then their was the one where one of the families in the town I use to live in after another family got really sick from eating what they thought were morel mushrooms went on a rapid effort to say that only their morel mushrooms were safe because they grew them in a apparatus and that all the surrounding morel mushrooms were bad from pollution or something. So they cause this urban folklore and it went on its marry way till one time in the spring two years later one of the farmers saw one of the family on his property picking morels. At that point it all came crashing down for the family when it came out they used it as a opportunity to make money from it and to monopolize the morel supply. Eventually one day they just left town and never came back.

So yesterday, I found next to the road a white Xbox 360. Yay a random Xbox; not really. As I have said before in one of my video’s, I am not a console gamer. Even though now I own a PS2 and now a Xbox 360 I have yet to play anything on the PS2 and it will be awhile before I get around to playing anything on the Xbox 360. I just find the whole idea of a game pad to play most game’s makes no sense. For example I own a joystick and it makes sense when playing a flight simulate or a similar nature game/ program. But when I have tried to use it for Minecraft and other games it makes no sense. Not saying I could eventually get use to using it, a joystick is not how these games were designed to be played with. Also I recently bought a USB game pad to try to use for a few older games that were designed to be played with a game pad. Now what I have tested so far, the game pad makes the most sense to use because that was how it was designed to be played. Now as for consoles, I believe that in some ways there are the best for gaming because they were specifically designed to be used for gaming but their major flaw any more is not being backwards compatible and simply expensive for the hardware they are and their limit use. So going back in time, remember when the PS2 had the option for a Linux basic computer system. Not that it was great but the main point is that it adds up to a lot of money when one has to buys a good personal computer, software, console, and games. There are flaws and if people want me to go on more just say so. Also if there is enough interest I would consider doing a giveaway or challenge for the Xbox 360 and the PS2. Leave a comment if so.

School, the reason some people will forever hate learning. While that is true much of that comes down to the teachers and the rules that it applies to. For example one really old rule in my high schools was that no tractor could park in the school parking lot. Well I was curious to learn why the school had this rule so I went about finding why. Most of the teachers I ask were newer then when this rule went into affect. So the search went on eventually I ask one of my community collage teachers who was a former teacher at my high school if he remembered why it was brought about. Apparently it all started out when two students where having a overnighter out at the farm of one of the parents. Well when Monday came about normally the farm kid would drive a tractor to school but his friend want to drive a different tractor so without the parents permission, the friend agreed and they went on their marry way to school. Well then came trying to park in the school parking lot, the farm student parks fine as he normally does but the friend tries to park and badly damages the side of a teachers car. So then when the teacher came out and saw his car later the day he went about calling the police and then a whole mess occurred with who was to blame. Well after that all tractors were banded from the school parking lot but then they were give the privilege of parking on the city parking spaces which was actually closer to the high schools main doors. Sp just an example of how all these rules are made when it to fast of a decision.

Shorty for today. Been done a lot of work on back end stuff for this website and other stuff in my life. So ether way I ordered my normal custom pizza but I decided to add one thing to my side. So I get it and start enjoying my slice when my mom unknowingly grabs one of mine slices. As she starts eating it she had a wearied expression on her face and finally she ask me if this was our pizza, I responded with a yes. Then she finally ask what is different about. Then I tell her I decided to try an anchovies on my side of the pizza. She then hands me her partially eaten slice and says to get me one without them and how one should be informed if I was going to try that. So my opinion of anchovies on pizza; they are not bad on it, definitely different. That said probably with not ever get them on a pizza again. 2/10

So today I learned that a Sabella TaniKumi is suing Disney saying that Frozen is based of off her life which she published in an autobiography. Here is my thinking on this. 1. I Highly doubt that Disney would purposely base Frozen. 2. The points that this woman made are actually kind of in Frozen. 3. A lot of what is human nature. Can human nature be copyrighted. Well I don't know but Orange is a Trademark so maybe. So if that is the case then that Frozen is in void of the copyright of the book and then she should win the lawsuit. This brings up a major thing in my mind about how the copyright law needs to change so there is that but that is for another day.

I have a dream, a dream where one day when one goes to school they must on there own take personal responsibility for there actions and common sense is common place. The way the United States public schools system has changed makes me cringe for my friends who are still in it. When I started out as a child in school the very first thing that was made obvious to me was my left handedness would not be tolerated. This was done by the teacher by not giving any guidance into proper hand form when writing, forbidding me to get help from any of the left handed teachers, and being a stickler as to how neat my writing was. So I forced to learn to write right handed. As school went on there were always things that came up where the school went to far in the restrictions on the students and when they would not do enough to protect there students. This among many reasons is why I left public school full-time to be home schooled and part-time public school. Over these years I have been able to step more away from many of the issues my fellow classmates faced and tried to lead them on their best recourse actions. One of my favorite examples was ever high school student in an extracurricular activity had to sign this agreement of good conduct. This was all forced except I never had to sign it as a home schooled student. So in turn ever time a person began to argue with my conduct in life and threatened any actions I was never worried of school action because I never agreed to it.

Many point with school is one is supposed to learn but what is learning when one does not have any common sense. For example when my father had chemistry in school, two of the students in the class throw alcohol on each other. Which was just silly till a spark caused there cloths to catch on fire, thus resulting on 2nd degree burns on them and being taken to the hospital. So when I went to my first day of chemistry to my surprise with the permission to take the class there was no clause about liability. Later on I asked my teacher about it and told to story from my father, the response was one should make sure not to be joking around. Which is all fine and dandle but so few students have enough common sense that is a major concern.

So as I am here is college, I am so thankful to be out of the public school. There are days when I don’t feel great, have things to do, or some emergency comes up: these are thing I would have loved to in a second to leave school and do what was necessary. This said if college changes to how public school is; I will leave college and get onto the workforce. To say if I have kids I will really coincide home schooling them solely because of the complete control of your life a public school causes.
