mini-courses
(special topics in science and software)
(special topics in science and software)
Every other Thursday evening I teach a 1.5 hour mini-course at the downtown Santa Fe Public Library. These courses have the goal of folding together science, mathematics and computer programming.
The courses are based on my "Serious Programming - small courses" book (under development) which you can find at https://markgalassi.codeberg.page/ - often the students propose topics, and sometimes the students research and write up chapters for the book.
Students must have taken the 10-hour "Serious Programming" course.
Students must have a computer running the Linux operating system, which will likely be the one we installed in the 10-hour Serious Programming course.
