No matter how I entered (pasted or keyed) the serial number I got "The serial number is invalid" before I ever got to enter the activation code. At one stage I got something about my email domain's MX code was not valid though it worked perfectly before. Since my user id is registered with Corel I cannot change my email address and phone calls leave me hanging on indefinitely.

I may not be a great help but I seem to recall confusing registration and serial codes. Try swapping them around or reentering them in the 'wrong' space. It worked for me but my brain can't remember the exact routine.

An important property of WordPerfect macros is that they are not embedded in a document. As a result, WordPerfect is not prone to macro viruses or malware, unlike MS Word. Despite the term "macro", the language has hundreds of commands and functions and in fact creates full-fledged programs resident on and executed on the user's computer.
