Since 2022 I am teaching Behavioral Economics at Kyiv School of Economics (as visiting lecturer).
2018 -2023 I was teaching Empirical Research I ("Selected topics in behavioral and experimental economics") for master students in applied economics at the University of Neuchatel.
The course introduces a growing field of behavioral and experimental economics through selected theoretical concepts and multiple practical examples. Students gain understanding of when and why people deviate from a rational-agent behavior, how people deal with risk and uncertainty, what are social preferences and nudging, when do we lie and how to reduce dishonesty at the workplace. The course includes an introduction in experimental research methods in economics and the description of the main building blocks of the relevant software zTree. The course can be used at both undergraduate and graduate level and for a general inquiry outside an academic world.
Exampaple of the syllabus of the course is available here.
The slides of a selected topic is available here.
Teaching evaluations are available upon request.
In 2016 I taught a practical part of Empirical Economic Research class for bachelor students at the Chair of Experimental Economics in Jena (lectures by Prof. Oliver Kirchkamp)
