Branding

Mrs. Cherry logo and icons were inspired by the bakery propper, its products and summer cherry views. The home icon is a baker's hat; the shopping cart icon is a bakery basket; the profile icon is a heart shape cookie; the menu icon is a muffin.

A/B testing

A/B testing was conducted on local app store forum. There were 21 participants, 18 voted A and 3 voted B, most people liked the logo and background icons. Also, many made a good point that background should diffenitely be blury, as clear icons disturb user’s attention. So, the choice of design was obvious.
