I'm a mathematician specializing in combinatorics and discrete geometry, with a particular interest in the mathematical foundations of magic and recreational mathematics. Online, I create scientific content under the name Sergio Matemago.
I'm currently a PhD student at the Institute of Geometry at TU Graz , under the supervision of Cesar Ceballos, and a member of the PAGCAP research group. I completed my master's degree at the Universidad del Valle, where I worked under the supervision of Rafael Gonzáles D'León.
My research interests include combinatorics, polytopes, Coxeter groups, representation theory, partially ordered sets, lattices, and matroids, often motivated by problems arising from magic, games, and recreational mathematics.
In parallel to my academic work, I am a professional magician and a member of AMACA (Asociación de magos de Cali), a magicians' association federated by FLASOMA. My work aims to bridge rigorous mathematics, artistic performance, and scientific communication, always striving to make mathematics produce a genuine experience of magic and wonder. (I try xd)
Here you can view my CV. (Probably not up to date xd)

One of my projects is a YouTube channel where I enjoy explaining mathematics in an accessible way for the general audience.
Another project is magic, where I have been performing shows and giving talks since 2016. Naturally, a significant part of my repertoire is mathematical magic :D
As magician I also wrote a book, a mathemagical book! If you want to know more click here:
Magic Through the Eyes of a Mathematician
I also have a personal BLOG (in spanish) where I publish what I find interesting about life, mathematics and magic.
