My research area is Enumerative Geometry, which is the study of the geometry of moduli spaces, the invariants we can produce out of them and the correspondences among each other. In particular, my primary interest is virtual counting on moduli spaces of sheaves on Calabi-Yau varieties, often incarnated by (refined) Donaldson-Thomas theory. I am also interested in motivic invariants, moduli of curves, derived categories and derived algebraic geometry. On the side, I like to explore the connections among Algebraic Geometry, Theoretical Physics and Combinatorics.
