Unfortunately, no. UPK has a firm cut-off date of October 1st.
How big is each class?
At Reunion, the maximum class size is 15. The minimum is 8.
At Brighton, the maximum class size is 14. The minimum is 8.

All school supplies are provided; however, a $20 fee is required at the beginning of the school year to help cover supply costs.
How many teachers are employed at the school, and how many are on staff at any given time?
There are currently 4 employees at our school. Lisa Stellato is the director and divides her time between both schools. Carrie Craven is the administrator, assistant teacher, and substitute teacher as needed. Jenn Rothstein shares the lead teacher role with Lisa at the Reunion location. Lastly, Kendra Tossie shares the lead teacher role with Lisa at the Brighton location and is also the assistant at the Reunion location.
Licensing rules and regulations require that we maintain a ratio of 12 students to 1 teacher for the Explorers class and 10 students to 1 teacher for the Discoverers class. Since our school is able to accommodate children over the legal ratio, we always have 2 teachers on site during class time.
Does my child have to be potty-trained to attend school?
Children must be potty-trained to attend our program. We understand that children at this age are still learning, so occasional accidents are expected and handled with understanding and care.

We are currently not accepting new students. Should there be any special circumstances concerning your child’s enrollment for this year, please consult with our director, Lisa Stellato.
What about registration for the 26/27 school year?
REGISTRATION FOR THE 4 YEAR OLD PROGRAM THROUGH UPK IS OPEN
REGISTRATION FOR THE 3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM IS OPEN!
Can I tour the school before I make any decisions?
Of course! We do tours by appointment only, so we don’t disrupt our regular classes. Just reach out to us, and we will coordinate a time. During the summer months, our school is closed as the location is transformed into a YMCA day camp. While the environment will differ from when we are in session, we are still happy to offer a tour so you can view the space and meet with the staff.
How do I contact Serendipity Preschool?
It’s best to start by emailing us at reunionpreschool@yahoo.com.
How do I enroll my child at Serendipity Preschool?
Discoverers – click here to enroll.
Explorers enroll directly through UPK at UPK Colorado.
You can email us at reunionpreschool@yahoo.com with any questions.
This is my child's first time enrolling in school. I have a million questions. Where do I start?
You are not alone! It is very common for parents to feel overwhelmed when enrolling their children into school for the first time. We highly encourage you to ask many questions. Please email us at reunionpreschool@yahoo.com. No question is too small!
Can we call or text instead of email?
Yes! However, because of the amount of spam these days, we ask that you please reach out to us by email for our phone number instead of us sharing it publicly.
Once I enroll, what’s next?
Explorers: Once you have completed the enrollment process with UPK**, we will send you an email to acknowledge that you are registered with us. **Please refer to the UPK rules and regulations to complete the enrollment process. Most of this process is managed by the State of Colorado, but we’re happy to work alongside you to help make it as easy as possible.
Discoverers: After you enroll with the provided link and submit the first payment as a deposit, we will send you an email to acknowledge that you are registered with us.
If the school session has already begun, we encourage you to get started as soon as possible. We will send you a comprehensive email with all the necessary information, including our required paperwork, which will need to be filled out by your child’s first day of school.
If the school year has ended and we have acknowledged your acceptance, then you are all set! Enjoy your summer. We will send a big, formal email in early August.
What do we need to get started for the school year?
You will get a large email from us with everything you need to know to start the school year. We will send you a copy of our very detailed handbook and a link to the required paperwork.
Does my child need to be vaccinated?
It is a mandate of the State of Colorado that any child attending school must have current immunization records; therefore, we are required to keep current copies on file. If you have decided not to vaccinate your children, you must follow the steps to fill out the exemption information and provide a valid copy of your child's exemption certificate. You can start by visiting the Certificate of Nonmedical Exemption.
We are also required to receive a current general health appraisal signed by a healthcare provider. This is mandated regardless of immunization status.
Since both of these items are mandatory by the state, we cannot allow any student without proper documentation.
All paperwork will need to be completed by the first day of school.
My child will be 3 before October 1st, but not before school starts. Can I still enroll?
Yes! Our license does not allow children under the age of 3 years old to attend school; however, you are welcome to enroll and pay the deposit to secure your space. Once your child turns 3, they will be able to start school.
