I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Aalborg University. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Sociology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020. 

Currently, I am also a Board Member of the Chinese Anti-Drug Social Workers Association (中国社会工作联合会禁毒社工专业委员会).

My research areas include crime and deviance, health, and gender studies. I am particularly interested in substance use (e.g., illicit drug, alcohol, and tobacco use) and juvenile delinquency. 

My current research is exploring the online and offline risk behaviors among youth in Denmark. I am also studying the gendered mechanisms in drug treatment and rehabilitation processes in China and Hong Kong.
