ABOUT ME

Séré Dioubaté - About Me

I am a Toronto native (born and raised) who is a stylish and driven creative. My photographic and life experiences have allowed me to love all aspects of culture, fashion, music, art, and technology. My passion for fashion brought me to the School of Fashion at Seneca College where I am completing my final term and working on receiving my Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Fashion Business Management this coming June.

I am extremely motivated, focused, and outgoing with experience in fashion photography, styling, communications, and customer service. In addition to my work experience and education in Canada, I have spent the last 7 months living in West Africa and completing my program remotely due to the pandemic, while also wanting to get back in touch with my roots being of Guinean, Malian and Ivorian decent. I spent my time capturing images of people and places to better understand society and the different socio-economic components of fashion and sustainability.

In this final semester (Semester 6), I have learnt about Digital Marketing, Digital Commerce, Planning, Buying, & Allocation, as well as Sustainable Fashion Collections. With my teammates we have spent the last 8 months working on our Field Capstone Project to finalize and pitch our marketing plan and new sub-brand to designer and fashion business owner Tonia DeBellis as well as a panel of judges comprised of professionals already working in the industry. This final presentation will be taking place in April during a Seneca virtual event.
