Instructions

1. While filling the information form please use the same email id that was used in the application form.
2. Kindly submit the information form latest by 31st October, 2019.
3. Please note that your accommodation will be booked only during Dec 6 - Dec 26, 2019. You will need to check out on Dec 27, 2019.
4. Further note that you will be reimbursed only the train fare by AC 3 tier class in a Non-Rajdhani train. In case, you decide to travel by flight, you should do so by Air India. If you fly by Air India, you will be reimbursed the maximum NET fare by AC 3tier.

Information

Weather :

It may be quite cold in Delhi during December with minimum temperature dipping below 10 degree Celsius. So please carry enough woolen garments with you.

How to reach :

Your accommodation is booked at one of the three places --- Delhi University Guest House /International Guest House, University of Delhi. You will be informed later on where you have to go but all three places are within walking distance from metro station (You may find these places on map here).

If you are arriving at New Delhi Railway Station or Delhi Railway Station, you may board the Delhi Metro Yellow Line (bound to Vishwavidyalaya/Samaypur Badli) and get down at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station. It is only 12 minutes ride by metro. Come out from Gate No. 4. You may take a cycle rikshaw or e-rickshaw (it will not cost you more than Rs10/- on sharing basis) or walk down to the place where your accommodation is booked.

In case your train arrives at Nizamuddin station, you will have to take an auto/cab to Delhi University North Campus. It is a distance of about 20km. You may also take Delhi Metro pink line bound to Majlis park and get down at INA station where you change to Yellow line bound to Vishwavidyalaya/Badli and then follow the instructions above. In case you are coming by bus and get down at Inter State Bus Terminal, again you can take metro from there and follow the instructions given above.

If you are traveling by flight and arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you may either take a cab to Delhi University North Campus or take the Airport line to New Delhi and from there take Yellow line and follow the above instructions.
