ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

Sequoia International School (SIS) is an educational institution that aims to promote academic excellence and encourages student participation in extra-curricular activities.

SIS hopes that this campaign will give an opportunity for the students of SIS to form fond memories of school life.

The Student Council of SIS was established recently in April of 2023. As the voice of the students, we represent students in school affairs and activities in hopes to collaborate and make our school a better, more fun, and more active place.

With this campaign, the council hopes to give everyone not only an exciting lifetime to buzz about but also raising awareness for animal welfare at the same time.

ABOUT SPCA

SPCA (The Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is a reputable non-profit animal welfare organisation registered with the Registrar of Societies since 1958. SPCA aims to protect animals against harm, abuse, or mistreatment and works toward the medical care and rehabilitation of strays around Malaysia. The 7 pillars of SPCA include but are not limited to shelter and adoption; spaying and neutering services; education; investigation of animal abuse; assistance to caregivers; lobbying the government; and promoting farm animal welfare.

SPCA has made great contributions towards their current cause; as representatives of The Sequoia International School, we aim to do the same and make a much-needed difference in the lives of animals in need.
