Pop-up art collective was a year-long collaboration with Katherine Mills as an exploration in art in public spaces in rural communities-- specifically our own in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Through a submission/exhibition process, we curated work into pop-up, under-the-radar shows in public spaces like the local post office (after hours,) the library, and the woods, asking the question- what does it mean for a space to be public? Pop-up Art collective is on a hiatus for 2020, with a few projects forthcoming. Linked below.
