Proud to call Franklin our home since 2007, my husband Chris and I have three children who have all attended Franklin Public Schools since kindergarten. Our oldest is a recent graduate and our younger two currently attend Franklin High School. I work part-time as a registered nurse at Aurora Health Care.
I am a strong believer in serving the community I live in, for the good of that community. My service to Franklin schools began in 2009, when I got involved with the Ben Franklin PTO, eventually serving as its president. I have served as the co-chair of Franklin PAGE (Parent Advocates for Gifted Education), board member/co-president of Franklin UMPS (United Music Parents) and as a longtime classroom volunteer.
I am proud of the work our board has accomplished, including maintaining a stable tax levy, strengthening communication with our citizens, improving our school safety plans, and developing a sustainable buildings plan for Franklin Public Schools. We've set a solid foundation and have more good work to do for the students, faculty and citizens of the Franklin School District.
As always, I appreciate the opportunity to serve the Franklin community I live in and love. I look forward to continuing the work of moving Franklin Forward as a Better Place to Work, Better Place to Learn, and a Better Community.
