Parking The Central Grounds Garage is located under the University Bookstore at 400 Emmet Street. Hourly parking ($2/hour) may be paid via the ParkMobile app.

Hotels There are several hotels within walking distance of Clark Hall. Times as reported by Google Maps. The weather tends to be hot and humid in Charlottesville in August, so you may wish to take this into account.  (We thought about this when scheduling morning talks at 9am instead of 10am!)

There are many other hotels within an easy 5-10 minute drive of the Central Grounds Garage, if you have a car or are willing to Uber. Better nightly rates may be (are probably) available at these locations. The areas around the Barracks Road shopping center (north of campus) and the Charlottesville Historic Downtown Mall (east of campus) have quite a few hotels and offer a variety of dining options as well.
