Individual Access Pass

For all persons, either short-term (Visitor) entry and exit into the industrial site not more than 24 hours; or long-term (Permanent) more than 3 weeks period.

Vehicle Access Pass

For entry-exit of all vehicles and machinery into the industrial site short-term and long-term basis (based on the applied individual access pass).

Permit-To-Work

For contractors conducting works at DARe-owned common-use areas, facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and non-leased areas.

Event Hosting Permit

For external parties intending to conduct any organised commercial, recreational, religious, or training event within DARe's industrial sites/parks.

Drone-flying Permit

For flying activity of any type of aerial drones within the air space above DARe's industrial sites/parks.

Use of Temporary Jetty

For the utilisation or construction of temporary jetty at coastal areas of industrial sites/parks under the management of DARe.

Process Flow

Expected completion of permit/pass applications is 2 weeks upon submission (with exception of unforeseen issues which may arise that are out of DARe's direct control or influence).

Reminders:

Officially-issued permits are required for entering or conducting activities in all common areas/facilities, unoccupied/unleased land, across all industrial sites and parks managed by DARe.
Authorisation can only be given by DARe Management.
You are required to present your permit(s) when arriving at our security checkpoints to be verified prior to entry.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I require registering for an account to apply for permits on the website?

No, there is no requirement to register for such an account.

2. How long is the turnaround time (TPOR - Tempoh Pemedulian Orang Ramai) for permit applications?

The turnaround time from submission of permit request to notification and receiving of approved permit is 2 weeks or less. Any requests that will require past that period or upon denied request, the applicant will be notified. The turnaround time will be reset upon re-submission of permit requests due to incomplete attached requirements or insufficient/incorrect information provided by applicant.

3. How will I be notified of the status of my permit request?

Only upon the confirmed approval/denial of a permit request, applicants will be notified right away via email along with further instructions. Statuses prior to approval, e.g. "in-review", "re-submission required", etc. will not be issued any notifications. Applicants can click on Check Status button to check the progress and at which processing stage for their request(s) themselves at any time.

4. Which industrial sites are applicable for requesting the various types of permits?

Relevant for Pulau Muara Besar (PMB) Industrial Park: Visitor Access Pass, Drone-flying Permit, Permit-To-Work.

Relevant for Sungai Liang Industrial Park (SPARK): Visitor Access Pass, Permanent Access Pass, Drone-flying Permit, Heavy Vehicle Entry-Exit, Use of Temporary Jetty, Permit-To-Work.

Relevant for all other industrial sites: Drone-flying Permit and Permit-To-Work only.
