연구실 소개

제주대학교 특수교육 & 심리치료 연구실(SEP Lab;셉랩)은 특수교육학(special education)과 심리치료학(psychotherapy) 분야를 중점적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 우리는 비장애인과 장애인 모두를 위한 교육(Education for All)과 함께 마음 건강의 증진을 지향하며, 실행가능성(feasibility) 높은 연구를 수행함으로써 현장에 더 깊숙히 다가가려 합니다.

'아이 하나를 키우기 위해서는 온 마을이 필요하다'는 격언처럼, 한 인간을 키워내는 데에는 깊고 폭넓은 교육학적 지식과 심리학적 지식이 필요합니다. 인간의 다양성을 따뜻한 시선으로 바라보는 특수교육학의 정신과, 인간의 마음에 대한 과학적이고 체계적인 접근을 지향하는 심리학의 정신을 바탕에 두고, 이 곳 제주에서, 우리 연구실은 더 나은 교육과 사회를 만들어내는 데 기여하고자 합니다.

About Our Lab

The Special Education & Psychotherapy Laboratory (SEP Lab; 셉랩) at Jeju National University specializes in research on special education and psychotherapy. We are committed to promoting 'Education for All', ensuring inclusive learning opportunities for both individuals with and without disabilities, and enhancing mental well-being. By conducting highly feasible and practical research, we aim to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." Raising and educating a person requires profound and extensive knowledge in both education and psychology. Our lab is rooted in the spirit of special education, which embraces human diversity with warmth, and psychology, which seeks a scientific and systematic understanding of the human mind. Based in Jeju, we strive to contribute to better education and a more inclusive society.
