Welcome to my website.
I am a doctoral student in Communications & Media at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on how people perceive and interact with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it shapes their decision-making, especially in the entertainment industry and beyond.
My research draws insights from consumer behavior and technology. While earning my M.A. at Korea University, I was a graduate researcher, contributing to the Center for ICT & Society (CIS), Startup Alliance, and Smart Media Service Research Center (SSRC). With an affiliation with SK Telecom, I assisted in measuring consumers' perception of OTT service features for the domestic OTT platform with SPSS/UCINET.
After graduating, I honed my expertise at CJ ENM as a Music IP Marketing and Artist Business Strategist. There, I leveraged my skills in Python/SQL to manage data on big data social analytics platforms like Brandwatch and Synthesio, developing strategic music IP metrics that informed key decision-making processes.
