Scientific activities: Our preliminary proposal for this small-scale meeting/workshop is to further understand the virtual fundamental classes beyond the Li-Tian/Behrend-Factechi construction. One potential problem to work on during our meeting is the various related approaches and constructions of the virtual cycle of a space with a 3-term obstruction theory. (This might, or might not, be related to the existing (-2)-shifted cotangent bundle construction.) It would be great if we can share some experiences and perhaps work together. (For instance it would be wonderful if we can figure out some properties which these virtual cycles should satisfy.) However we by no means aim to restrict our discussions on 3-term obstruction theories. We would be grateful if you can share any interesting topics related to virtual cycles or closely related fields such as problems in GW/DT theories.
