Some pages have Google indexed, but others don't.

But before we go any deeper, let's make sure that you understand the nature of indexes? And the fastest way to Index Google you need to know!
What is crawling and the Google Index?
Google discovered several new Web sites by crawling the Web. They then add those pages to their index. They do this using a "spider web" called Googlebot.
If you are thinking 'what are you saying'. Then take a look at a few key terms below offline:
Information gathering (also known as "scratching"): The process of monitoring hyperlinks on the Web to discover new content.
Indexing: The process of storing every Web page in a large database.

When you Google something, you are asking Google to return all relevant pages from their index. Because there are often millions of pages that fit the bill. So Google's ranking algorithm will do its best to organize the pages so that you see the best and most relevant results first.
The important point that I want to say here is that the Google index and ranking are two different things .
Index is registering for a race, and ranking is a winner. You can't win without appearing in the race in the first place, right?
So now let's see how to "register in" this ranking race.
How to check if you got Google Index or not
First, go to Google, then search for your Web site using "site:" + "website you want to find".
For example my website is FAMEMEDIA.VN. You will type site:famemedia.vn on Google
If you want to see the index status of a particular URL just do the same thing.
Now, it should be noted that if you are a Google Search Console user. You can use the Coverage report to get a more accurate view of the index status of a Web page.
Google Search Console> Index> Coverage
If these two numbers have a nonzero total, then Google Index at least some of the Sites on your Web site. If not, then you have a serious problem because none of your pages are indexed!
You can also use Search Console to see if a particular page gets Google indexed . To do that, paste the URL into the URL Inspection tool .
If the page is indexed by Google, it will say "URL is on Google".

After following the instructions above. Now that you know that your site or website has not been indexed by Google , what to do?

1. Delete the Crawl Block code from the robots.txt file
Does Google index not index your entire web page? It could be because your robots.txt file contains the Google blocking code.

2. Disallow: /

Both of these snippets tell Googlebot that they are not allowed to crawl any of your Web pages. So to fix the problem, you just need to delete them to finish, easy.
Moreover, the Crawl Block in robots.txt can also be the culprit that prevents Google from indexing odd pages on the Web. To check it, paste the URL into the URL Inspection Tool in Google Search Console. Click Coverage Block to get more details, then look for “Crawl Allowed? No: Blocked by robots.txt ”.
If so, make sure the page is blocked in robots.txt.
In that case, check the robots.txt file to see if there is any “Disallow” command related to the page or related subsection!
2. Remove fake Noindex card
Google will not index the page if you have requested Noindex. This is only useful when you want to keep certain Web sites private.
There are two ways to do the search and delete the Noindex tag as follows.
Method 1: Meta tag
Pages with one of these Meta tags in their <head> section will not be indexed by Google:
To find all pages that have a Meta tag that prevents an index on the page. You can use Ahrefs' Site Audit to get information then Indexability, look for “Noindex page”
Click to view all affected pages and remove the Meta noindex tag from those with unwanted tags.
Method 2: X - Robots-Tag
The URL inspection tool in Search Console will let us know if Google has been blocked from crawling the page because of this header.
Simply enter the URL, then search for “ Indexing allowed? No: 'noindex' detected in 'X ‑ Robots-Tag' http header ”
You can also check this out with Ahrefs. Specifically, scratch the information in the Ahrefs' Site Audit tool. Then use the "Robots Information in HTTP header" filter in Page Explorer:
Then ask Team Developer to exclude the page you want to index by returning this header.
3. Submit the page to the Sitemap
What is a sitemap used for?
A sitemap tells Google which pages on your Website are important and which are not. It can also provide some guidance on how often to scratch information.
Google can find your website pages regardless of whether they are in the Sitemap or not, but you should still include them!
To see if a Page is in the Sitemap or not, we use the URL inspection tool in Search Console. If you see the error "URL is not on Google" and "Sitemap: N / A", then "sure" is not in the Sitemap or has been indexed by Google.
And in case you do not use Search Console, apply the syntax: yourdomain / sitemap.xml — and search on Google. If there are corresponding results returned, this page has been Google indexed, and vice versa. Or if you want to find all scratched and indexed pages that are not in the Sitemap. Then use Ahrefs' Site Audit, go to Page Explorer and apply the following filters:
You will be able to filter the pages that should be Index Google but have not yet been added to the Sitemap, so add them to the Sitemap offline! Once done, let Google know that you've updated your Sitemap by Pinging this URL:
Replace that last section with your Sitemap URL. You should then see a piece of text that looks like this :))
4. Delete the fake Canonical Tag
The fastest way to index Google is to remove the fake Canonical Tags. Canonical tells Google which is the more optimized version of the page, which looks like this:
<link rel = "canonical" href = "/ page.html /">
Most sites either don't have a Canonical Tag or will have the so-called self-referencing Canonical Tag - Tell Google that the page itself is the only preferred version.
In other words, this is the page you want to be indexed with Google.
But if your page has a fake Canonical Tag. Then Google will not know about that preferred version and certainly, your page will not be Google indexed.
To Check Canonical, use Google's URL inspection tool. You will see an "Alternate page with Canonical Tag" warning if Canonical points to another page.
To do things faster on Ahrefs, you can go to Ahrefs' Site Audit to scratch information then Page Explorer, apply the following settings: This action helps to find pages in the sitemap that have non-self-referencing canonical tags. The returned results are pages with an invalid Canonical tag. Or shouldn't be in your Sitemap in the first place.
5. Make sure the pages are not "orphaned"
Orphan pages are those that do not have Internal Links pointing to them. Because Google discovers new content by capturing information on the Web, they cannot discover the orphanage in the process.
Website visitors will also not be able to find them if you do not lead them. To test the orphan page, continue crawling the Web with Ahrefs' Site Audit. Next, click to see the Links report to find the "Orphan Page (has no incoming internal links)" error:
This way shows all the pages that can be indexed by Google and displayed in the Sitemap, but there is no Internal Link pointing to them.
This process only works when there are two of the following:
All the pages you want Google to index are already in the Sitemap
You have given permission to use the site in your Sitemap as a starting point for capturing information upon setup in Ahrefs's Site Audit.
If you are not sure that all the pages you want to be indexed are already in the Sitemap, then try these 3 steps, which is simple:
Download a complete list of sites on the Web via CMS
Crawl your Web site (using the Ahrefs' Site Audit tool)
Cross-referencing the above two URL lists.
Any URLs not found in Ahrefs' list are orphan pages.
You can edit orphan pages in one of two ways:
If the page is not important: delete the page and remove it from the Sitemap.
If the page is important: incorporate it into the Internal Link structure of the Website.
6. Edit the Internal Links Nofollow
Nofollow links are links with the rel = "nofollow" tag, which prevents PageRank from being transferred to the destination URL. Google also doesn't crawl Nofollow links.
Basically, using Nofollow causes us to remove target links from the overall Web graph. However, target pages can still appear in our index if other Web sites link to them without using Nofollow or if the URL is submitted to Google in the Sitemap.
In short, to make it easy to understand, you need to ensure that all Internal Links to pages can be indexed by Google. To do this, use the Ahrefs' Site Audit tool to crawl the Web page and then go to the Link report to see if the pages that could be indexed have the error "Page has nofollow incoming internal links only" as shown below. is not
7. Add "strong" Internal Link
As I mentioned above:
Google discovers new content by crawling the Website.
So if you accidentally do not Internal Link to the page in question, they may not be able to find the page. And the easiest solution is to add some Internal Links to the page you want Google Index to.
However, if you want Google to index your page as quickly as possible, you should get links from "strong", important sites on the Web. Why? Because there's a high chance that Google retrieves this page's information faster than the less important page.
Based on Ahrefs Site Explorer. You just need to enter your domain name and then access the Best by links report as shown below.
All pages on the Web will be displayed and sorted by URL Rank (UR). In other words, it shows the most authoritative pages from top to bottom. Skim through this list and find the relevant page to add Internal Link to the page in question.
8. Make sure the page is valuable and Unique.
Google will "hesitate" not to index Google low quality pages because they are of no value to the user, according to what John Mueller of Google said about the index in 2018:
He implies that if you want Google to index your page or Web site, it needs to be "awesome and inspirational", good for the user.
If you've ruled out technical problems due to the lack of an index and still can't find the cause, chances are your page is lacking in value. For that reason, you should review the page and ask yourself: Is this page really valuable? Will users find value in this page if they clicked on it from search results?
If the answer is no to either of those questions, then you need to improve your content in terms of providing value. To find low quality pages that have not yet been indexed by Google, you can use the Ahrefs Site Audit tool and URL Profiler by visiting Page Explorer, applying the following settings:
Results will return Thin Content pages that are indexable and currently not receiving any Organic Traffic (meaning no Google indexes).
Export the report, then paste all the URLs into the URL Profiler and run the Google Indexation test as shown below.
You should use a Proxy if you are doing this for multiple sites (ie more than 100 pages). If not, there is a risk that your IP will be banned by Google. Or you can try the "free Google indexation checker" - the free indexers. Some of these tools work fine, but most are limited to <25 pages at a time.
After Checking the page has not been indexed by Google because of Content quality, plan to improve Content! Then ask for re-indexing in Google Search Console.
You should also try to fix the issue with Duplicate Content. Google does not have the ability to index Google on duplicate or near duplicate content. To Check this, you just need to use the Duplicate Content report in Ahrefs Site Audit as shown below.
9. Delete low quality pages
Maybe you didn't know: Having too many low-quality pages on the Web will waste your budget and slow down crawl.
Wasting server resources on [low value pages] consumes information from the page that is really valuable, which can cause a significant delay in discovery. Great content on the Web site.
For example, if the teacher in the class marks you, of course, scoring 10 lessons will be faster than scoring a hundred papers, right? Google claims that "the vast majority of Web pages with fewer than a few thousand URLs will be crawled more efficiently."
However, removing a low-quality page from the Web is not redundant, but can also have a positive impact on crawling efficiency.
10. Build high quality backlinks
In the fastest way to index Google to know it is Backlink. Backlinnk tells Google that your Web site is important or not, authoritative or not. Basically, if someone is linking to the Web, then the Web has to have some value. And that is exactly the type of page that Google wants to index.
For complete transparency, Google doesn't just index Web pages with Backlinks. There are many (billions) of indexed pages that do not have backlinks.
However, because Google considers pages with high quality links more important, they are able to crawl - And recrawl - Such pages are faster than pages without. That means being indexed faster by Google.
Note: Indexed ≠ ratings
The fact that your page or website is indexed in Google does not mean ranking or increasing organic Traffic right away.
These are two different things. Indexing means that Google knows your Web site. It doesn't mean they'll rank it for any relevant and worthwhile queries.
Ranking is the job of SEO - where SEO comes in - the art of optimizing your Web pages to rank for specific queries.
In short, SEO includes:
Find what your customers are looking for;
Create content around those topics;
Optimize those pages for your target keywords;
Republish content regularly to keep it green.
If we did the fastest Google Index method as above but it was not effective. Then there are only three possible reasons that can cause Google not to index your Site or Web:
Technical issues on the Web side you prevent Google indexing
Your site or Web is judged by Google as low quality and worthless to users
Both reasons mentioned above
In practice, however, technical problems are much more common. Technical issues can also lead to low-quality content, which is not good at all.
