Enrichment Programs
Enrichment Programs (EPs) provide Scholars with transformative Summer experiences that support their academic, professional, and personal growth. While the formal EP process begins between 10th and 11th grade, SEO staff begin monitoring each Scholar's attendance, assignment completion, behavior, engagement, and overall standing starting in 9th grade. These factors help determine nomination readiness. Because many EPs are costly, SEO works to secure financial aid and scholarships while covering remaining tuition whenever possible, making these opportunities accessible to Scholars and their families.
Mentoring
The SEO Group Mentoring Program connects Scholars with industry professionals who provide guidance, career exploration, and real-world perspectives to support their personal, academic, and professional growth. Mentors help Scholars build career readiness skills, develop confidence, and navigate future educational and workplace opportunities. Many mentors are former SEO Scholars, and mentoring sessions take place during Saturday Academy throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.
Spring College Tour
The SEO 10th Grade College Tour gives Scholars the opportunity to explore local college campuses and begin envisioning their future in higher education. During this one-day experience, Scholars tour campuses, learn about admissions and academic programs, engage with college representatives, and experience campus life firsthand. The tour encourages Scholars to ask questions, explore different college environments, and begin thinking about the factors that will shape their college search and future goals.
