Throughout his tennis career at Minot High, he was a great team player, focusing his skills on doubles. He will be applying his knowledge and positive attitude to this team. He is currently a history teacher at Minot North!
Middle School Coach
Nate is entering his first year with the Sentinels. Nate is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and he is an aspiring investment banker currently working at Erik Ramstad Middle School. Tennis has been a passion of his for quite some time, dating back to high school where he created his school’s first tennis club. Because his school didn’t have a tennis program at the time, his friends and him organized weekly practices and matches where they got to teach players ranging from beginners to experienced athletes from all walks of life. In doing this, he has gained the leadership skills and technical knowledge necessary to teach the game effectively. He is excited to bring that same energy into helping our athlete develop their skills and build their confidence!
JV2/ Middle School Coach
Andrea is entering her first year with the Sentinels. Tennis has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember! She grew up in a tennis family and a coaching family, so the sport has always felt like home to her. She played collegiately at Indiana University–Kokomo, and after graduating, stayed on for two years as an assistant coach. During that time, she also coached locally — working with a co-ed middle school team in the fall and a girls high school team in the spring. Tennis has given her so much, not just as a sport but through the lessons it teaches along the way. Andrea is excited to give back by sharing her passion for the game with this team, getting to know the players, and helping them grow and enjoy the season together.
