Sentence Coach is an offline-first, multilingual sentence-building learning application. This policy explains how the Sentence Coach developer handles information when the application is used.

Information Collection and Sharing
Sentence Coach does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The production application does not contain advertising, analytics, social login, tracking, or an external application programming interface. It does not require a Sentence Coach account.
Information Stored on the Device
The application stores selected interface and target languages, level, current unit, XP, sentence-building progress, completed learning steps, learned words, review status, mistakes, speaking self-assessments, onboarding status, theme, sound, speech rate, and offline voice preferences locally in app-private storage. This information is not transmitted off the device and is not accessible to the Sentence Coach developer.
Microphone and Temporary Audio
The Android microphone permission is used only for the optional Speaking Bridge exercise. Permission is requested after the user taps the record control. Audio is stored temporarily in the application's private cache so the user can listen to their own recording. It is not analyzed, uploaded, shared, or used for advertising. Temporary recordings are deleted when the user advances, leaves the activity normally, or closes the application. Stale Sentence Coach recordings are also removed on the next launch.
Text-to-Speech
Pronunciation and assistant speech use only an offline voice installed on the user's Android device. Sentence Coach excludes voices that require a network connection. If a suitable offline voice is unavailable, speech playback is disabled for that language rather than transmitting text to an online service.
Internet and Third-Party Services
The production application does not request Android internet permission and does not send learning activity or audio to Sentence Coach or any third party. Development and profile builds may use internet access required by Flutter developer tooling; that permission is not included in the Google Play release.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local learning data remains on the device until the user clears the application's storage or uninstalls the application. Uninstalling Sentence Coach removes local progress, preferences, and app-private files. Because Sentence Coach has no user accounts or server-side storage, there is no remote personal-data record to request or delete.
Children
Sentence Coach is a general-audience education application and is not directed specifically to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user.
Security
Learning information and temporary audio are kept in Android app-private storage. Sentence Coach minimizes permissions and uses the microphone only for the user-initiated recording feature.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when application features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
