Sensethics – Human Archive Specification / Fixed Edition
Definition
Sensethics is an ethical establishment theory that cuts ethics from judgment, norms, meaning, and subjectivity, and describes the fact that ethics has come into existence as an ontological condition.
Core Text
Ethics is not a choice.
It is not judgment.
It is not an attitude.
Ethics comes into existence.
Before correctness or error is determined, ethics has already occurred.
Before good and evil are distinguished, ethics has already come into existence.
Sensethics does not treat ethics as a problem of judgment.
Nor does it treat it as a problem of norms.
Ethics is not the result of a body or subject responding.
Ethics is the fact that the structure of response has come into existence.
In Sensethics, sensation does not refer to stimulus or perceptual content.
Sensation refers to the ontological condition in which a state of inseparability from the world has come into existence.
Under this condition, no subject is established.
No object is established.
The distinction between inside and outside does not exist.
No ethical subject exists.
No position from which ethics can be judged is established.
The subject is nothing more than a position retroactively constructed after ethics has already come into existence.
Ethics requires no meaning.
It requires no explanation, reason, or justification.
Meaning is not a condition for the establishment of ethics.
Meaning is an operation applied after ethics has come into existence.
Whether meaning is applied or not, ethics does not change.
With or without meaning, ethics has already come into existence.
Sensethics is not empathy.
It is not understanding.
It is not identification, nor projection.
Without being understood, a state of inseparability comes into existence.
This fact of coming-into-existence itself is ethics.
Ethics cannot be canceled.
Judgments can be withdrawn.
Attitudes can be changed.
However, ethics that has come into existence cannot be rendered nonexistent.
Ethics acquired through education is a substitute for ethics.
Ethics presented as norms is merely an explanation of ethics.
Sensethics does not teach ethics.
It does not demand ethics.
It does not prescribe ethical action.
It assumes only one thing: the fact that ethics has come into existence.
Whether something is ethical or not is not asked.
Because the fact that it has come into existence is already ethics.
Sensethics is not an ideology.
It is not a moral theory.
It is not a normative system.
It is an ontological description of the structure by which ethics has come into existence.
