The Sense of Place Collective is comprised of nonprofits, universities, federal and state agencies, and recreation-based small businesses. Click on the links below to learn more.
The mission of the Sense of Place collective is to educate the public about the natural resources around us. Knowledge is power and through education we can protect our resources for future generations to enjoy. Please consider volunteering your time to support our non-profit partners. If you don't have time to volunteer, please consider making a donation or becoming a supporting member.
There are many ways to support the White Mountain National Forest. You can volunteer to help with site maintenance, adopt a trail or support a forest-wide effort such as the Trailhead Stewards, to name a few. Please visit our volunteer page to learn more. You can also donate to the White Mountain National Forest through the National Forest Foundation, which is the nonprofit arm of the Forest service. The National Forest Foundation manages the White Mountain Forest Stewardship Fund which funds projects on the White Mountain National Forest. Every dollar donated stays on the Forest.
