Coach Carmen McGinnis became a member of the Symphony of Soul Marching Band in 2009, where her passion for the HBCU marching band culture blossomed. As a committed coach and Life Member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority Incorporated, Carmen's love for music and her innovative vision drive her efforts to reshape conventional perceptions of color guard expectations. She actively works to preserve and expand upon the legacy of Sensations.

Colette's journey into the world of performance began as a member of the renowned Symphony of Soul Marching Band, where she showcased her dedication and talent from 2008 to 2011.

As the Assistant Coordinator for Sensations Color Guard, Colette Russell continues to channel her love for the art form, utilizing her expertise, leadership, and fondness for the band culture to inspire and guide the next generation of performers.
