Hi, I'm Shai a 26 year old proud DC native who loves creating art from yarn!

SenpaiShaiCrochet (formerly Crafty Hands Creations) began 10 years ago in my trigonometry teachers detention where i learned the basics of crochet: chain, single, and turn. It wasn't until my 1st year in college that I thought to turn my hobby into a side hustle. It was a very stressful time and crochet allowed me to clear my mind. I started by making hats and scarves for friends and people living in my dorm, and then one day someone asked if I knew how to make stuffed animals and that is where my amigurumi journey began.
