What can I say about me? I'm Señor Llama, or as my parents named me, Omar. I am a Spanish teacher, writer, musician and a dreamer! I was born and raised in a small town called Camuy, in Puerto Rico. For those avid self-taught, Puerto Rico is a small island in the Caribbean. The Spanish conquerors stumbled upon this beautiful island and decided to call it San Juan Bautista, and later Puerto Rico.

I grew up in a pastoral family, together with two older brothers. My parents taught me the meaning of hard work. I went to college with the intention of becoming a music teacher but... you know what? I failed. I got married and had two amazing and talented children. I went back to college and finished my studies in marketing and strategic management.

At the moment, I am serving as a Spanish teacher in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I teach levels 2, 3 and work with a Heritage Learners class. I am in the process of publishing my book, a compendium of short stories for Advanced Spanish Learners. For more content, join me on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It will be a pleasure for you to be part of our community.
