Senior Reminder App collects only the information needed to create reminders, notify selected contacts, and support normal app functionality.

If you choose to add a family member or trusted contact, we collect:

This is used only for app performance and troubleshooting.
2. How We Use Your Information
A. To Create and Manage Reminders
We use reminder details to help you organize your tasks and schedules.
B. To Notify Family Contacts (With Your Explicit Consent)
If you enable the option to notify a contact when a reminder is completed, the app may send a brief notification message to that contact.
To comply with Apple’s requirements, you must explicitly enable this feature when adding a contact. The app will clearly state that:
The contact’s phone number and/or email will be used for sending notifications.
Only general information will be shared (no medical terms).
Notification Wording
To protect your privacy, the app uses general, non-medical wording, such as:
“[User Name] has completed their scheduled task.”
The message will not reference medications, health conditions, or sensitive information.

3. Consent for Contact Notifications
When adding a contact, the app presents a required consent checkbox that explains:
The contact’s phone/email will be used to send completion notifications
You must confirm you have permission to notify them
Notifications will contain only general wording
You must check this box before the contact can be saved.
4. Third-Party Services
If the app uses a third-party SMS or email provider to deliver notifications, they may process:
The contact’s phone number
The contact’s email
The general notification message
All third-party providers must meet or exceed our privacy protection standards.
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Your reminder data and contact information are stored securely within the app’s backend service.
You can delete:
Any reminder
Any contact
Your user account and all associated data (if you create one)
6. Data Deletion
If your version of the app uses user accounts, you will find an option in Settings → Delete Account that permanently removes:
Your account information
All reminders
All contacts
All associated data
