Friends and family say I have a heart that "cares with compassion." My compassion is the key principle in assisting a senior as a whole person with love and respect for the human spirit. My experiences with seniors began at a young age when I helped care for my grandparents and older relatives. "Treat everyone with love, compassion, respect and dignity," my wonderful parents, Ernesto & Grace Torres, would say. "Especially the elderly." I am thankful for the family values they instilled in me.

I was especially close to my beloved grandmother, Guadalupe Aguirre, who delighted my soul when I saw the joy in her eyes after assisting her with her errands and appointments. She was relieved and able to enjoy her life each time I helped with her "To Do" list. This special time between us, I will always treasure. Unfortunately, in her 80's my grandmother suffered with Alzheimer's until the Lord called her home at the age of 91. I have a profound compassion for individuals with memory loss and for their families. Abuelita (Spanish for beloved grandmother), you are forever in my heart, soul and spirit. I love you and miss you so!

In addition, I was privileged to be employed by The Village at Incarnate Word Senior Living Community in San Antonio, and my desire to assist seniors enhanced even more so. I was fortunate to have completed numerous in-service classes at The Village at Incarnate Word to further my knowledge with senior care. My heart's intention was to obtain my own business doing what I enjoy the most...caring and assisting seniors with their daily living activities and thus, Senior Blessings was born.

I start my day thanking The Holy Trinity for another day of life. I am grateful for His peace, joy and grace. Representing His light is my ultimate goal. All the glory goes to our Savior Jesus Christ! My favorite scripture is "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5), and I believe in the promises of His word for all His people.

Serving seniors is my specialty...assisting seniors and their families balances my soul, spirit and mind. Allow me and my Care Angels to have the honor to care for you.

I would like to acknowledge my beloved parents, Ernesto and Grace Torres, who have always demonstrated consistent love and compassion to me. I am forever grateful for their unconditional love.
