Lions Clubs everywhere support community eyesight and hearing conservation.

If you are in need of assistance obtaining a pair of glasses or a hearing aid, please fill out and return an Request for Assistance Application.

Request for Assistance Applications are available online and can be downloaded using this LINK. Completed applications can be emailed to Seneca Lions Club at lionsofseneca@gmail.com or mailed to P.O. Box 13, Seneca, SC 29679.

Request for Assistance Applications can also be picked up at the S.H.A.R.E. Office, located in Seneca at 708 East Main Street. Their phone number is (864) 882-3495. Applications are generally picked up weekly.

Eyeglasses requests are processed as funding is obtained from Seneca Lions Club fundraising events - on a first come, first served basis. Community members needing hearing aids must be patient, as those applications are forwarded to Columbia for processing on a state level. Applications from residents outside Seneca are forwarded to their local Lions Club for processing.

Once an applicant is approved for eyeglasses, they will be directed - BY APPOINTMENT - to Dr. Forgnoni's office at Innovative Vision Center in Pendleton, for an exam. Special thanks to Dr. Forgnoni and the staff at Innovative Vision Center for assisting the Seneca Lions with outfitting over 100 applicants yearly with eyeglasses!
