We are currently working on the Italian adaptation of a Rapid Online Assessment of Reading (I-ROAR).
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic, and Neural Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy and a visiting research fellow at the School of Health Sciences of the University of East Anglia, UK.
My research is in clinical linguistics, with a particular interest in the assessment of grammatical competence in child and adult speakers with possible language disorders, specifically in multilingual contexts. I use behavioural as well as qualitative methods. My practical aim is to aid Speech and Language Therapists and educators in their everyday practice.
I have a mild obsession for everything Bowie!
I am a research assistant at the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic, and Neural Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy.
I graduated in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Padua, and during my training I carried out several internships in neuropsychological clinics in Padua and Modena (Baggiovara). During these experiences, I have developed a strong interest in the way cognitive functions have an impact on communication, relational aspects and everyday life, both in healthy and pathological contexts.
My favorite snack is ciccioli frolli (if it doesn’t ring a bell I suggest googling).
