Our meetings are an open hang out spot, where students let their creativity flow. Past members have noted that making these meetings a part of their schedule have helped them destress from college life.

How many volunteer groups are there?

There is a total of THREE volunteer groups, including: In-Person, Virtual, and Hybrid.
How do I become an official member?

Select a volunteer group (In-Person/Hybrid/Virtual). Fill out the Interest Form and register on FalConnect. That's it!

In Person Volunteers are responsible for...
Registering on FalConnect.
Filling out the Interest form.
Attending meetings from start to finish.
Creating greeting cards for every delivery.
Following card making guidelines.
Being welcoming and participating in activities during club meetings.
Virtual Volunteers are responsible for...
Registering on FalConnect.
Filling out the Interest form.
Creating cards and delivering them by deadline.
Following card making guidelines.
Submitting the Card Submission form.
Dropping off cards to our mailbox.
Hybrid Volunteers are responsible for the above requirements and must follow them to the best of their ability. Failure to submit any cards, attend meetings, or stay in touch will result in membership removal.

Depending on your role, these next steps will differ.
If you're an IN-PERSON/HYBRID volunteer you must:
Fill out the Card Submission Form
Turn in your cards to an officer at the meeting OR Submit them to the MESA mailbox
If you're a VIRTUAL/HYBRID volunteer you must:

Submit them to the MESA mailbox

How do I get volunteer hours?
One card counts towards 1/2 hour of service. Attending a meeting from start to finish is 1 hour of service, however in order to earn your meeting hours at the end of the semester you must attend at least THREE meetings.
