About us

The National Learning Service (SENA, by its initials in Spanish), along with the Ministry of Education and other public and private actors, have worked on different strategic programs to guarantee the training of Colombians of all ages in a second language, primarily English, within the framework of the National Bilingualism Plan. Promoting this learning and the acquisition of transversal competencies is fundamental to improve the country's human and social capital in the face of globalization processes. SENA currently has agreements and alliances to strengthen the communicative skills of apprentices in English, French and Portuguese.
