Ms. Shayla has been teaching my two daughters for over two years now and she is absolutely AMAZING!!!! They loved her so much. Ever since we started with Ms. Shayla they don't want to take music lessons with someone else. Their learning experience has been great and they keep improving their music skills every week. We love her!

Shayla has been more than accommodating and gracious in working with our busy family's schedule. While she remains flexible for us, she is also prompt, communicates often, and truly has my 11-year old daughter's success at heart. She shows patience each and every lesson with a light-hearted approach, making her students comfortable to learn. In addition to work on the piano, she encourages technique and book learning too. Shayla's work in the community is empowering and we enjoy seeing her around town in new theatrical or musical roles. She is unbelievably talented! And, she accepts various payment methods which is a plus for this crazy busy working mommy!

I wanted to learn violin while doing my PhD. Shayla trained me for more than a year. She is tremendously knowledgable, flexible, and a very good teacher. Teaching music requires immense patience and she was very patient with me. Highly recommended.
