Fairness considerations in energy supply planning for collective self-consumption

We address the problem of fair energy supply planning within collective self-consumption communities, focusing on shared distributed energy source and a common energy storage system. The objective is to determine an energy supply plan ensuring a fair allocation of shared resources. To achieve this, we explore various fairness measures for the allocation of green energy and shared economical gains, including proportional allocation and max-min fairness. Structural dominance properties are proposed to address the complexity of related problems.
Numerical results based on a real case study will illustrate the trade-offs between achieving fairness and maintaining operational efficiency.
