SemiFrench is the artist name of Amsterdam-based producer, DJ and songwriter Maxime Oostenbrink. Rooted in House, Minimal and Deep Underground Club music, his sound is shaped by two dance music powerhouses: France and the Netherlands.

With a decade of production experience, he has worked alongside Luuk van Dijk, Allan Eshuijs, Sam Karlson, Caro Emerald, César Lüttger and holds a close creative partnership with Daan Herweg, songwriter and co-producer on some of the biggest international pop projects out of the Netherlands. Grammy-nominated songwriter Maria Christensen is among his collaborators. Studio credits include Armada Music Studios, Wisseloord Studios, Nachtlab Studios, Key Element Music Studios, Earforce and Left Lane Studios.

As a DJ, SemiFrench has performed at RAI Amsterdam, Bordello Aperitivo, Amsterdam Pride, Secret Labels, Louie Louie and Niet Thuis Events and organises his own house raves within the Amsterdam underground scene. In June 2026 he appeared on mulitple radio shows, with a full summer of bookings ahead.
Influenced by Dance and Rock artists such as Ben Klock, DVS1, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Limp Bizkit, Maceo Plex, Dennis Cruz and many more, SemiFrench always stays true to himself while giving the crowd exactly what they need. 

His releases are backed by a publishing deal with Copyright Power International, with new music dropping every five weeks.
