Semiahmoo Secondary School is home to approximately 1,680 students in Grades 8 through 12. We are proud of our strong academic foundation and the diverse opportunities available to students through our Music, Visual Arts, International Baccalaureate (IB), Culinary Arts, BASES, and Athletic programs.
Our goal is to create a school community where every student feels valued, respected, and supported. Guided by the principles of Community, Connection, and Courage, we strive to foster an environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing the skills and confidence needed for future success.
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) represents the collective voice of parents and guardians at Semiahmoo Secondary. All parents and guardians of current students are members of the PAC and are encouraged to attend meetings and participate in school initiatives.
The PAC works collaboratively with school administration to support student learning and well-being while ensuring that parent perspectives are considered in school discussions and decisions. In addition, the PAC administers provincial Gaming Grant funding and supports fundraising efforts that provide financial assistance for extracurricular activities, clubs, athletics, arts programs, and other student enrichment opportunities. Through these contributions, the PAC helps enhance the overall educational experience for Semiahmoo students.

We are excited to welcome our alumni back to campus as part of our Guest Speaker Program! This initiative invites former students to share their personal and professional experiences with current high schoolers through workshops, panels, and talks. Participating alumni not only give back to the school community but also gain valuable public speaking experience and the chance to inspire the next generation. If you're interested in being a guest speaker, please fill out the short interest form below. We’re looking forward to reconnecting with you!
