Calculators

The TI-84 graphing calculator is one that I strongly recommend you purchase. It will be necessary for homework assignments and tests in class. It is also allowed on the ACT, SAT, AP, and IB exams. If you are unable to purchase one, the Washburn media center has a limited number of calculators to check out to students.

Online Calculators

Here are some online calculator options that may be useful.

You may have used Desmos in more algebra-based courses, but it can also be used for basic univariate graphs and statistics of a small data set.

The MN Department of Education has an online version of a TI graphing calculator. Click the Grades 8 and 11 option, and continue to follow instructions on screen to start a test. A calculator icon will appear at the top of the screen.

Taculator has all the functions of a TI calculator and can be found in the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
