Images and Camera Data To provide the core functionality of scanning items for valuation and listing generation, the App requires access to your device's camera and photo library.
When you scan an item, the image is processed and temporarily transmitted to our third-party Artificial Intelligence providers (Google Gemini / OpenRouter) solely for the purpose of analyzing the item and generating listing details.
We do not store your images on our own servers. All scans and generated listings are saved locally on your device using Apple's local storage frameworks.
Subscription and Usage Data We use Apple's StoreKit to process subscriptions and manage your quota of free scans.
We do not collect, process, or store your payment information. All billing and subscription management is handled securely by Apple Inc.
We track your usage quota (e.g., number of free scans used) locally on your device.
We use the information we collect to:
Generate accurate resale valuations and marketplace descriptions using AI.
Manage your local history of past scans.
Authenticate premium subscription status to unlock features.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share data with the following third parties to provide our services:
AI Providers: Images and condition ratings you submit are sent to Google/OpenRouter to generate the listing details. By using the App, you consent to this processing.
Apple: For the processing of subscription payments and app analytics (if you have opted-in via your iOS settings).
Because your scan history is saved locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can delete individual scans from the History tab at any time, or delete the App to clear all associated local data.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
