This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) explains how the individual developer (the “Provider”) handles personal information in connection with the iPhone/Android application “Self Talk Korean” (the “App”), which is distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means information about a living individual that can identify, or can be used to identify, a specific person, including but not limited to name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, and other identifiers.
The App may collect and use the following information:
Information you provide
Text or voice content that you voluntarily enter into the App
Learning records (e.g., in-App speaking logs and similar usage logs)
In-App purchase history (items purchased, transaction records)
Information collected automatically
Device and app information (e.g., OS type and version, device model, App usage such as launch counts and time spent)
Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and aggregated statistics obtained via analytics tools such as Firebase Analytics
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the App;
To improve existing features and develop new features of the App;
To analyze usage and error information to improve quality and stability;
To manage the history of paid features (in-App purchases);
To respond to inquiries from users; and
To comply with laws and regulations and cooperate with legal obligations.
The Provider will not provide Personal Information to third parties without the User’s consent, except in the following cases:
When disclosure is required by applicable laws and regulations;
When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and obtaining consent is difficult;
When especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and obtaining consent is difficult;
When cooperating with national or local authorities in the execution of their duties and obtaining consent may impede such duties; or
When outsourcing advertising delivery, analytics, or similar services to external service providers (in which case the Provider will impose confidentiality obligations on such providers).
The App uses the following external services, which may collect information as described above:

User information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy, or for the period required by applicable laws and regulations. After such period, the information will be securely disposed of or deleted.
The Provider takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of Personal Information.
Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their Personal Information held by the Provider. If you wish to make such a request, please contact us using the details provided in Article 10 below. The Provider will respond in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
This Policy may be revised due to changes in laws and regulations or operational needs. Any changes will become effective when notified within the App or published on the distribution platforms.
