What We've done
Throughout the months of January and February, we created posts and posted on Instagram to help our peers with Selflove, and Self-image. Everyday we created one post, but not every post was posted everyday. There were days where we posted 2 or 3 posts per day. Overall, we planned to create at least 31 posts for 31 days.
Our goal was to create posts that would truly help educate anyone on these two topic including mental health. These posts give tips, quotes, activities to do, how and why they work, and the sources we used. We also included the events / activities we formed to promote our topic and mental health such as: Giving stress balls to peers, family, and friends, appreciation / positive / love letters, and our mental health game.
These posts and events / activities helped us to use our platform to showcase how beneficial they were for the students who participated and followed us through the process of our Instagram page.
We listed our Linktree with fun help tools for our peers.
One fun tool being "Our Year-Long Mental Health Plan". This plan is designed to help you feel well, stay positive, and maintain good health throughout the year. Each week, there are activities to try, and you will have the opportunity to write or reflect on your feelings. Every few months, you will also check in to see how you're progressing!
We also listed "Our Youtube Mental Health Playlist" which provides helpful videos for those dealing with mental health problems, and those who are seeking for motivation in life.
Another fun tool to use is the "Therapist Chat Bot". If you don't have anyone to talk to feel free to chat with a Therapist Bot, which can give helpful tips and can be an entertaining, and a valuable source that can be used with anyone who is dealing with "ANY" types of problems.
Don't forgot to be inspired and filled with motivation by reading over the motivative positive affirmation website we provided in our Linktree!
Lastly, we provided our "Mental Health Survey" to help with us with our research and added the "Helplines + Support" resources for those in need of it!
