We develop nanogenerator based self-powered biodevices which can harness energy directly from the body or the surrounding environment—such as motion, heat, or biochemical reactions without any human interventions. By integrating soft materials, and biological engineering, we envision to create sustainable, energy-efficient systems that redefine the possibilities of personalized and regenerative medicine.

Wearable Healthcare Sensors

Our interest is in developing wearable sensors which can provide non-invasive monitoring of vital signs and biochemical markers, enabling early detection of diseases and personalized treatment strategies. From tracking biomarkers in tears, sweat, or skin to enabling early disease detection and precise health management, our work empowers a seamless connection between technology and human health.

Bioelectronics for Electrical Stimulation

By leveraging the concept of triboelectric and piezoelectric nanogenerators, we develop self-powered bioelectronic platforms that can be integrate with the human body. These systems are engineered to deliver precise, localized electrical signals that stimulate cellular activity, enhance vascularization, and guide tissue repair processes, making them invaluable for tissue regeneration.
