A college girl's guide to Self-Growth
A college girl's guide to Self-Growth
When you fall into a pattern, you become comfortable staying even when it isn't good for you. You eventually become part of that pattern and mistake it for your identity, for instance, you procrastinate, sleep in late, and don't take school seriously, then when you think about who you are you think of those things you do day-to-day and consider it your identity. It takes 14 days to break a pattern or bad habit, that's two weeks of discipline and self-growth to better your future self. you need to understand that a pattern doesn't define you, YOU define you. Only you can control the outcome of your life, no one else can. It's up to you to defeat the pattern of your lower self to eventually unravel your higher self, once you do that, patterns will not be able to define you.
How to grow self-esteem from a student who struggles.
=You don’t need validation from others, you only need it from yourself, everyone else is irrelevant.
=Don’t beat yourself up for small/large tasks that fail, think, “Okay, yeah, I failed but now I know what to do for next time, I know what resources I need to be successful.”
=STOP OVERTHINKING WHAT OTHERS SAY, ALWAYS ASSUME POSITIVE INTENTIONS.
=DON'T EVER UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF. Running away from difficulties and thinking, "No, I can't do that," isn't a smart idea because you'll learn to believe it over time.
=What you think you will become.
