As per the Hawaiian Airlines seat selection, charges for selecting seats depend on the different fare options.
If you haven’t chosen your preferred seat, then airlines will assign you the available seats.
Seat allotment will be done at the time of check-in.
Once your preferred seat is selected by someone else, the airline marks it as a booked seat.
The selected seat cannot be changed.
You are not allowed to choose the already booked seats.
All the kids traveling on the airlines must sit with their companions.
Passengers can select their preferred seats:
At the time of booking
During the check-in process
And after booking
However, airlines will not take any guarantee that travelers will sit together traveling on the same reservation.
Frequent Flyer members and platinum or gold members can get free extra comfort seats. But it depends on the availability.
Paid seat selection is generally non-refundable for all passengers if they wish to cancel their flights.
If airlines insist you to change your paid seat selection, then you can apply for a refund.
But make sure it only happens at the time of aircraft change or at the time of technical emergency.
Make sure paid seat selection is non-refundable after canceling your tickets, as mentioned in the cancellation policy of the airline.

Hawaiian Airline seat selection policy offers various seat options to all passengers. But it also varies on the availability and cabin type. Here are those different seat options available:
The airline offers extra comfort seats with extra legroom, priority in service, and personal power outlet.
Other seat options are the preferred seats with standard legroom, located mainly in the main cabin area. These seats are basically included in the main cabin fares, or in the paid upgrades.
Another is the standard seat option. These are the regular or window side seats situated in the main cabin.
Next is the main cabin basics. These are the most affordable seat options.
If the passenger chooses the first or business class, then their tickets include premium recliner and lie-flat seats.
When traveling with your pets want comfortable seats, so you can also choose the extra legroom seats with this seat selection feature.
Hawaiian Airlines Main Cabin Class Seat Selection:
In this, seat selection is available before check-in.
This seat type offers both standard legroom and seat space.
Travelers can easily upgrade their seats on the basis of availability.
These seats are available for Atmos™ Rewards point qualification
Main Cabin Preferred Seats:
Airlines allow the seat choice for this fare type.
These seats are situated in the more favorable areas of the cabin.
The seats are closer to the emergency exit doors or at the entrance, so that passengers can easily board and disembark.
Main cabin preferred seats provide more comfort than the main cabin seats.
Main Cabin Basic Seats:
Passengers are not allowed to choose their preferred seats. This fare option includes more restrictions than the others.
Know about your seat allotments at the time of check-in.
However, passengers can upgrade their seats to the higher fare options.
The restrictions in this fare type include any kind of changes, refunds, cancellations, or bonus mile modifications.
Grab your seat early so you can snag the best window, aisle, or Extra Comfort options before they’re gone.
Before you book, take a quick look at your fare type— Main Cabin Basic can come with extra seat choice limits, so it’s worth checking.
You can use the Manage Booking area to go over seats or upgrade anytime before check-in , assuming availability still exists.
If you fly a lot, then join the Hawaiian Airlines loyalty program as well, because eligible people may get complimentary entry to Extra Comfort seating, or something close to it.
Then make sure you check in right when it opens, (usually 24 hours before departure) . That should up your chances landing a nicer seat that’s still there, especially if you didn’t grab one ahead of time.
