Welcome! The Museum cares deeply about the health and safety of its visitors and employees. We have taken the following measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure to you, other visitors, and our staff. Nonetheless, COVID-19 is very contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure in any public environment where people are present. Those visiting the museum do so at their own risk of exposure.
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended, but not required, for those visiting the museum galleries. We will continue to check the vaccination status of anyone entering the museum.
Masks are suggested for all guests ages two and older, even if you are fully vaccinated.
Maximize your enjoyment, and do your part to help keep each other safe by following our safety requirements. Please make sure to plan ahead and read Before Your Visit, During Your Visit, and Enhancing Your Visit below.

Before Your Visit
We are working on a free Digital Guide , a part of the Museum Connects app, to learn from curators and educators about our exhibitions and Basu Natural Farms, and to access safety information and additional exhibition content. Remember to bring your headphones.
Bring your three-ply face mask, N-95, or equivalent to keep yourself and one another safe. All individuals ages two and older will be required to wear a face mask at all times. To request accommodation due to a medical condition or a disability, please contact Pam Basu prior to your visit.
Kindly reschedule your visit if, in the 10 days leading up to your visit, you or anyone in your household has tested positive, experienced COVID-19 symptoms, or if you are unvaccinated and have come into close contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19. Symptoms include cough, fever or chills, difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, stomach upset, muscle or body aches, headaches, and fatigue.
During Your Visit
In the interest of your safety and that of others, help us reduce the risk by observing all rules, posted signs, instructions from the Museum staff, and the safety requirements listed below.
To request accommodation due to a medical condition or disability, please contact Pam Basu prior to your visit.
Help prevent the spread of germs. Please wash your hands for twenty seconds and use hand sanitizer regularly during your visit. Hand-sanitizer dispensers are stationed throughout the museum. Cover your cough.
By visiting the museum, you agree to abide by these policies. For the safety of our visitors and staff, we reserve the right to request that individuals who do not follow these safety measures leave the museum.

Visitor Policies
The Museum is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our expert team works hard to maintain an inspiring and safe experience for you, and we ask for your help and cooperation in doing so.
During your visit, please follow all instructions from our staff, and note that we have a zero-tolerance policy for individuals who engage in verbally abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior. Conduct that poses any risk to the health or safety of other visitors or the museum’s staff, or any risk to the artworks, collections, or the building is also prohibited.
Visitors may not engage in disruptive conduct that interferes with or detracts from the experience of other museum visitors. In this spirit, running, rough play, and distracting behavior such as the unauthorized playing of music and video, unauthorized performances, the use of sound amplification and noisemakers (except for assistive-listening devices), and charitable solicitations, leafleting, signature gathering, picketing, and press conferences by visitors are prohibited.
The museum will refuse or revoke the admission of any visitor whose conduct it believes violates these guidelines.
Still photography for noncommercial, personal use is permitted, unless otherwise noted in the galleries. We hope to be tagged in your social media images.
Pencils, sketchbooks, and notebooks are permitted.
Strollers and soft, front-facing carriers are permitted. However, toddler carriers and baby backpacks are not permitted. Adults may not carry children on shoulders.
Nursing mothers are welcome to breastfeed on the farm grounds.

Be Kind: Please be kind to our staff and each other. Respect the directions of the staff, as well as any gallery closures.
Keep a Safe Distance: Be mindful of maintaining a safe social distance between yourself and staff or other visitors. Please do not touch the art, as fingers (toes, elbows) cause immediate damage, leaving oils and dirt behind.
Be Camera Conscious: Photography, without flash or bright light, for personal use is permitted. Selfie sticks and autonomous or radio-controlled devices (drones) are not permitted anywhere in the Museum. Photo shoots, commercial photography, and tripod usage require special arrangements.
Check Yourself: Declare that you are currently not exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19. If, after making this reservation and prior to your Museum visit, you become ill or learn that you have been exposed, please contact us at 414-224-3200 or mam@mam.org to reschedule your visit or arrange a refund.
COVID-19 is extremely contagious, and the risk of exposure exists in any location. The precautions listed here are intended to minimize your risk of contracting COVID-19 but are not a guarantee of your safety.
