Responsibile decision making involves the ability to make choices about personal behaviour and social interactions based on ethical standards safety concerns and social norms. It's important to consider all sides of the decision, give consideration to the well being of others, and analyze possible consequence before making your choice. Watch the following video:
2. Reflection: Why is it important to understand decision making skills? Can you remember a time you made a good decision? What happened? Can you remember a time you made a bad decision? What happened?
3. Discussion: Discuss with a partner a time you each made a good decision. Why do you think that was a good decision?
For example, maybe you asked a friend/teacher for help with math homework when you were stuck. This allowed you to understand the math better, and scored really well on the next test.
