2.PROFESSIONAL VERIFICATION AND MODERATION
In Short: We maintain strict verification and moderation systems to ensure platform security and protect patient privacy.
To maintain the integrity and security of our platform, we implement comprehensive verification and moderation measures:
User Verification System
Saudi Medical License Requirement: All users must upload a valid Saudi medical license as a mandatory requirement to access the app
Specialty Selection: Users can specify their medical specialty from up to 88 fellowships and 50 board certifications
Account Approval Process: New members are not assigned a username until their credentials are verified and approved by our team
Seamless Onboarding: Our verification process is designed to be thorough yet user-friendly
Content Moderation and Patient Privacy Protection
Case Verification System: All medical cases undergo human verification to ensure complete de identification before publication
Privacy Declaration: Users must complete a mandatory Declaration checkbox before submitting cases for review, acknowledging their responsibility not to share patient information without proper consent
Legal Compliance: The Declaration includes reference to the Patient Bill of Rights and Responsibilities provided by the Saudi Ministry of Health
Educational Disclaimer: Upon first accessing the feed, users see a notice stating: "All SeKondly users are verified licensed physicians. Content on SeKondly is for discussion purposes only and should not replace the standard of care or serve as the sole guide for clinical judgment."

To moderate content and protect patient privacy: We process submitted medical cases to ensure de-identification and compliance with privacy standards

To enforce professional standards: We process information to maintain the platform's integrity and ensure compliance with medical professional standards

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES? In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not
