Institute of Seismology named after G.A. Mavlyanov, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), is pleased to invite young scientists, researchers, doctoral and master's students, as well as professionals working in the fields of seismology, geophysics, geology, and natural disaster risk reduction to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "School of Young Seismologists" (YSS 2026), to be held on August 24–28, 2026, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The conference will serve as an important international platform for discussing recent scientific achievements, innovative research, and advanced practices in seismology, fostering academic and professional cooperation, and enhancing the capacity and expertise of young specialists. The program will include keynote lectures by leading scientists, scientific discussions, practical workshops, and networking sessions aimed at promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants from different countries.
The conference proceedings will be published in E3S Web of Conferences (EDP Sciences), an international open-access journal indexed in Web of Science (CPCI-S) and Scopus. All accepted papers will be assigned a DOI number and will be permanently available online free of charge.
